Muddle of March End is the first book in a series of stories about Muddle and his friend Fae. The two friends are inseperable and go on the wildest adventures, where they meet fascinating characters, make great new friends and usually right wrongs along the way. Fae is half Elf, half Fairy and as such has never fitted in either communituy. One day when walking alone through the Gloomy Woods, he bumps into King Olfen and the Fairy patrol. He apologises after knocking the king into a Gloomberry bush, but the King is livid and demands Fae be arrested and taken back to the Fair Forest with them for trial. Little do they know that waiting in ambush for them is a dangerous foe known only as the Murgle! This is the story of how Muddle and Fae first met and how they ended up having their first great adventure. This first book in the series aims to shine a light on how difficult it can be when one is a child of two cultures and to inspire and give hope to those who are often rejected for being different.
